Research in Europe is currently organized within the 7th Framework Program (FP7). FP6 terminated in 2006; FP7 (2007-2013) is now crusing at full speed. This course is an introduction to European research, how it works, what are the tools available (CA, SSA, STREP, IP, NOE, etc..), at both political, strategic, scientific, coordination, and financial levels. It is targeted on PhD students in order to prepare them to act as leaders on the European scene.
