<title>The SKILLS conference in Montpellier</title>

<description>&lt;p&gt;200 participants from 20 countries attended the SKILLS conference, held at the CORUM international Convention Centre. Our two keynote speakers, Stefan Schaal (University of Southern California, USA) and Scott Kelso (Florida Atlantic University, USA) gave a great conference on movement primitives and human skill acquisition, and our guest speaker Libor Kral from the European Commission (ICT Cognitive Systems and Robotics) presented the general ICT program and the next calls soon to be out. All together, 100 communications (oral and posters) were given, and 8 hands on demos were presented, among which the 6 emblematic demonstrators of the SKILLS european project. The proceedings of the conference have been published by EDP sciences and can be downloaded at http://www.bio-conferences.org/.
